Title : Adult Faith Formation Director

Parish : St. Anne Catholic Church, Oswego, IL

Reports To : Pastor

Position : Full-time, Benefits

Position Summary : The central purpose of this position is to create and lead programs that will assist adults at St. Anne Catholic Church in understanding their Catholic faith and acting upon their faith in their lives.

Requirements :

• Catholic in good standing who follows the precepts of the Church and understands and supports the doctrines and moral teachings while also competent to cooperate with the mission and direction of the pastor and to work with the deacons, staff members, and laity of the parish.
• Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Catechetics, or Catholic Studies, or comparable formation.
• Skills in ministry program administration, organization, and teaching.
• Experience in serving and leading a church ministry is preferred.
• Comfortable communicating and working with parishioners and church personnel of all ages.
• Seeks continual education and formation in the truths of the Catholic faith by personal study and prayer.
