Fully analyzes issues and problems, gathers data and information, finds and evaluates alternatives and makes sound recommendations.
The new Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Computational Drug Discovery and Development (AICD3) graduate degree program in the School of Pharmacy is looking for a Part-Time Program Analyst.
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment. The individual will provide support to the program students in the Machine Learning Course (CDD203), coordinating, planning and ensuring that the lectures aligned with course materials.
This position will utilize organizational, communication, technical and coordination skills in addition to analytical skills for supporting key activities and projects.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF.
For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $55,700 - $90,000 (Annual Rate).

Department Description
The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Computational Drug Discovery and Development (AICD3) graduate degree program at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) will train students to apply computer science, data science, statistical analysis, machine learning, and other data-driven methods to redefine the discovery and development of new drugs and therapies.
The program enables graduates to gain a competitive edge for some of the most desirable jobs in the biopharmaceutical industry and in academia, both of which increasingly require interdisciplinary training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience
- Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff verbally and in writing.
- Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
- Computer Science Training
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs.
