This position is a Med / Surg position, working 7p-7a, working 12-hour shifts, and weekend requirement is for every third weekend.
Holiday and weekend hours are also 12-hour shifts. This position is 72 hours per pay period. The applicant will be cross-trained to other departments within the facility so they are able to float to the units.
Qualifications :
- Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
- BSN preferred
- Current BLS Certification required
- Previous Med / Surg experience preferred
- Critical care experience preferred
Skill and Ability :
- Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of nursing practices
- Physically able to perform the functions of the position
- ACLS certification required within 6 months to one year of hire
- PALS certification required within one-two years of hire
- Maintains all required qualifications for area assigned
- Cardiac Arrhythmia Interpretation course required within one year of hire
- Experience with management of ventilators preferred
- All other duties as assigned
