Pediatric Dentist Duties and Responsibilities :
- Reviewing patients' medical history and discussing their symptoms and concerns.
- Utilizing dental instruments and x-ray equipment to determine the cause of patients' oral pain and discomfort.
- Formulating suitable treatment plans based on the diagnosed dental condition.
- Performing procedures to diagnose and treat cavities, cracked or fractured teeth, and oral diseases.
- Administer medications and anesthetics for tooth extractions, root canals, and other surgical procedures.
- Maintaining teeth that have previously undergone procedures.
- Completing a comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and progress notes on each patient.
Pediatric Dentist Requirements and Qualifications
- Doctor of dental surgery (DDS) or Doctor of dental medicine (DMD) degree.
- Certified in CPR
- License to practice dentistry.
- Proven experience working as a Pediatric Dentist.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Patient and empathetic disposition.
