Stanley Consultants, Inc is currently seeking a talented individual to work as a transportation drainage and water resources engineer for design in our Denver (Centennial), Colorado office.

Essential duties include :
- Participates in the preparation of engineering plans and specifications for the design of stormwater management facilities including storm sewer systems, detention facilities, flood control facilities, channel restoration / rehabilitation, bridge hydraulics, culverts, and other hydraulic structures and facilities
- Responsible for the preparation of transportation related hydrology and hydraulics studies, including Master Drainage Studies, Drainage Reports, and Bridge Hydraulics Reports
- Responsible for the preparation of drainage design calculations and modeling to support design recommendations
- Supports field studies, surveys, and data collection necessary to develop drainage concepts and construction documents
- Prepares documents for federal, state, and local agencies for code compliance review and obtains permits required
Background requirements include :
- Bachelor or Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- Must possess 4-8+ years of relevant experience
- Requires a Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license, CFM certification is a plus
- Experience with hydraulics and hydrology modeling software such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, Hydraulic Toolbox, HY-8, Culvert Master, SMS / SRH2D
- Proficiency with Microstation, InRoads Storm and Sanitary / OpenRoads
- Prior experience working on projects with Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT)
- Experience with the CLOMR / LOMR process
- Experience with local municipal design methods, plan preparation, standards and specifications
- Experienced in and fully capable of using the Microsoft software suite including Word, Excel, Project, and Power Point
- Must be self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of project team
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Base Compensation : $80,000 - $115,000
