Machine Operator

Kelly® Professional & Industrial is hiring for Pressure Die Cast Operators Join our dynamic team at our 50-acre, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

We are a leading supplier of aluminum high-pressure die-cast products and permanent mold gravity cast parts, serving major global automotive equipment manufacturers.

Our Ridgeville facility is part of one of the largest automotive and automotive components manufacturing and distribution groups.

Monday - Saturday Schedule :

• 2nd shift 3pm-11 : 30pm
• 3rd shift 11pm 7 : 30am
• Paid Orientation - 1 week 8am - 4pm
Weekly Payrate :
• $18 / hr
• $18 / hr

Pressure Die Cast Operator Responsibilities :

• Set up die cast machines according to standard procedures, using an overhead crane to load dies. Wear required protective clothing.
• Adjust machine controls to predetermined settings as specified on setup sheets.
• Connect and check cooling lines for leaks and proper operation.
• Set up and adjust the die lubrication system.
• Adjust nozzle torches to maintain proper temperature.
• Set up and adjust trim dies and trim press following standard procedures.
• Configure robotic arm operation for safe and proper function.
• Monitor all systems and oversee the operation of the die cast machine and associated equipment, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
• Operate the trim press and perform secondary operations as needed.
• Inspect castings to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Perform all duties safely, regularly inspect safety devices, and report any hazards.

Pressure Die Cast Operator Qualifications :

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pressure die casting experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform tasks such as bending, squatting, or kneeling.
• Availability to work any shift.
• Fabrication, mechanical, or bandsaw experience preferred .
