Sales Bizlab We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Event Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their career in the event planning and management industry.
As an Entry Level Event Specialist, you will work closely with experienced professionals to help design, plan, and execute a variety of events ranging from corporate meetings to large-scale conferences and social gatherings.

Weekends free
Pay Range :
$25.50 - $34.00 hourly
THIS WILL BE AN ON-SITE JOB
Location : Pittsburgh, PA
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of events including logistics, catering, and venue selection.
- Help coordinate schedules and timelines to ensure events run smoothly and on time.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary materials and services, such as decor, audiovisual equipment, and catering.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and promotional content for events.
- Conduct research on venues and event trends to provide recommendations and innovative ideas.
- Participate in on-site event management and coordination, ensuring all elements are in place and functioning properly.
- Maintain detailed records of budgets, contracts, and invoices associated with events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software is a plus.
- A keen attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
