Ecolab is seeking a Human Resources Manager for their FRS division.

The HR Manager for the Food Retail Services (FRS) division will be responsible for providing day-to-day and strategic human resource generalist consultation to approximately 700+ employees across the globe.

Key areas of responsibility include employee relations, organization and talent development, succession planning, change management, and salary and bonus planning.

This position will report to the HR Director global specialty group.

What You Will Do

Provide forward-thinking HR consultation on strategic and operational issues by proactively assessing the work environment and culture and identifying and implementing appropriate action.

This may include developing and implementing programs in the areas of talent development, rewards / recognition, employee engagement, or other initiatives to improve overall organization health and performance.

  • Participate in the development of the annual business plans to understand the key requirements and business issues. Translate the key business issues into human resource strategies and action plans to support the business growth plans.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for employees and managers in the areas of employee relations, employee development, performance management, compensation, benefits, payroll, and policy / procedure-related issues.
  • Lead the global human resource assessment of leadership through the consistent assessment of talent, identification of key strengths and gaps in the organization, and the development of action plans to address the organization’s needs.

Drive development, engagement, and retention strategies to diversify our talent bench and support continued associate advancement.

  • Using HR expertise and knowledge of the organization, lead the process for all annual HR cycle activities including talent plan, performance appraisal and individual development planning, salary plan, stock option awards, and incentive plan payouts.
  • Provides employee and manager training including Performance, Planning and Development, Employee Engagement, Talent Assessment, and Succession Planning and Leadership Development.
  • Provide HR-related data and reporting to leaders to promote data-driven decision-making and strategy development.
  • Participates in corporate-wide HR service delivery improvement projects.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition Specialists to ensure the organization’s recruiting needs are fulfilled.
  • The role is an active member of the senior management team for FRS.

Position Details

Location : Greensboro, North Carolina; with relocation assistance offered if applicable.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or other related area.
  • 6 years of progressive human resources generalist experience across multiple areas which may include a combination of HR generalist and specialist experience such as employee relations, compensation administration, training and development, and talent acquisition.

  • MBA or MA in Human Resources or Industrial Relations

  • Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Strong organizational, time, and project management skills

  • Strategic mindset and ability to align training initiatives with business objectives
