Our Client is a renowned Commercial General Contractor based in Houston, specializing in ground-up construction projects.

With a reputation for delivering top-quality results across various sectors, they are seeking a seasoned Ground Up Construction Superintendent to join their dynamic team in San Antonio, Texas.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Management : Oversee all phases of ground-up construction projects from start to finish.
  • Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and manage on-site construction teams, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Scheduling : Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Quality Control : Ensure all work meets or exceeds quality standards and project specifications.
  • Budget Management : Monitor project budgets, control costs, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Client Relations : Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Compliance : Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Travel : Be willing and able to travel to various job sites across Texas as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum of 8 years of experience in ground-up construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects.
  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Technical Skills : Proficient in construction management software, scheduling tools, and MS Office Suite.
  • Leadership : Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving : Ability to quickly resolve issues and make informed decisions.
  • Flexibility : Willingness to travel as required by project locations.
  • Certifications : Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, PMP) are a plus.
