Primary Duties
Learn relevant local and company requirements, rules and procedures. Strictly follows rules and guidelines and always uses the right procedure for the job.
Promptly reports incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions or processes. SKNA employees regardless of level, position or tenure are responsible for upholding the safety standards regulations and policies.
Collect and analyze environmental data
Carry out site assessments to determine environmental impact of activities
Study human influences on the environment
Improve conservation management, including recycling, water and air
Organize the effort to address and correct compliance issues
Provide technical support when needed
Manage sustainability process and reporting
Additional duties assigned by management
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar field of study
3-5 + years of progressive experience as an environmental engineer, including experience in recordkeeping and reporting requirements
Excellent planning and organizational skills, with ability to analyze and improve business structures and processes, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of individuals
Demonstrated capabilities to manage significant capital projects aimed at improving environmental performance
Desired experience with Title V permits, NSR permits, PBRs and standard air permits, SPCC plans, and SWPPP permits
Some experience with Sustainability reporting and ISO 14001 system management also desired
