job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the chemical or petrochemical location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining awareness of the unique hazards present in a chemical or petrochemical environment. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or identify potential hazards, adapting to varying working environments and conditions specific to the location. Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials of personnel and visitors in accordance with site policies. Report and document any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or concerns observed during patrols or while on post. Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed to address incidents or emergencies in line with Allied Universal protocols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available An active Department of Defense Confidential security clearance is required. A minimum of six months of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. This position is primarily a driving post and prior driving experience is preferred. A valid Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
