Position Overview / Responsibilities for the Desktop Support :
- Provide desktop computer support assignments, focusing on problem resolution
- Install and provide technical support for a variety of desktop computer hardware and software
- Offer customer support to both on-site and remote users, analyzing system problems and providing solutions
- Collaborate with teams of analysts, programmers, and users in application development environments
- Test and potentially write technical documentation for software or hardware installation
Required Skills for Desktop Support :
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft operating systems, and other office automation tools
- Ability to identify and correct hardware malfunctions
- Knowledge of Hardware Configuration, Active Directory, AV / Conference Support, Azure AD, Data Backup and Recovery, and more
- Experience with ticket tracking systems such as Dynamics and Service Now
- Familiarity with Mac OS, iPhone IOS, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft O365, SharePoint, and Outlook
- Excellent customer service skills and professionalism
