Position Summary
The Schoolof Architecture and Planning is looking for students who are responsible andhardworking to apply for the Computer / Print Lab Lead Assistant.
TheComputer / Print Lab Lead Assistant will be in charge of overseeing Computer Laboperations alongside the Computer Lab Manager and / or in the absence of theManager.
Duties andresponsibilities include, but are not limited to; Troubleshooting andMaintaining Equipment such as Computers (Hardware / Software), Plotters / Printers,Scanners, Servers, and 3D Printers;
install / maintain / troubleshoot Audio andVideo Equipment, setting up files for 3D Printing, and help faculty / studentswith computer issues including software and hardware.
In addition, the ComputerLab Lead Assistant will help implement new technologies for use in the Lab.
Thesuccessful candidates will demonstrate a keen interest in new technologies andhave advanced knowledge with Mac and PC environments, expertise in large formatprinting, advanced knowledge of software installation / activation, knowledge inserver maintenance and navigation, ability to install / fix audio and videoequipment, and extensive knowledge in autodesk and creative cloud apps.
Duties mayrequire lifting equipment or objects up to 30 lbs. The Computer / Print Lab LeadAssistant may be scheduled for shifts during the Lab operating hours between8 : 00AM and 10 : 00PM seven days per week or be on call if needed. Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
