CHIEFLENDER (Permanent)
Ourclient an established nonprofit in WNY is looking to hire a ChiefLender to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity forsomeone ready to take the next step in theircareer.
Responsibilities :
- Managethe mortgage loan (first mortgage and home equity loans) processfrom start tocompletion / approval
- Provideeducated advice to clients regarding all possible rates options andterms guiding each through the applicationprocess
- Answerany questions clients may have throughout the process ensuring theyremain wellinformed at alltimes
- Gather / analyzefinancial data and run credit evaluations on prospective clientsforeligibility
- Utilizeanalysis outcomes to appropriately recommend loan products toclients making adjustments whennecessary
- Overseethe underwriting and closing teams to ensure loans are beingprocessed in a timelymanner
- Performunderwriting duties and case management as necessary or to pick upoverflow
- Ensureall information is uptodate and accurate maintaining impeccableclientfiles
- Developand maintain positive relationships with local nonprofits banks andother potential businesspartners
- Providehighest level of customer service to clients and business partnersensuring a seamless and positiveexperience
- Maintaincompliance with all regulatoryguidelines
- Workwell in a team environment as well asindependently
- Completespecial projects in a timelymanner
- Otherduties as assigned / asnecessary
Details :
- Positionis full time directhire
- 100%inoffice MF 9 : 00 5 : 00; some evening / weekend community events may berequired
- $65000$75000 annually depending onexperience

- Bachelors degree in Business Finance orrelated
- NMLS(Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) registrationpreferred
- 5years relative experience preferably in banking or creditunions
- Mustunderstand all banking rules andregulations
- Strongcomputer skills specifically Microsoft Office
- Strongorganizational and time managementskills
- Strongattention todetail
