A Day in the Life of a Commercial Roofing Estimator
As a Commercial Roofing Estimator, you have extensive knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and construction processes.
You provide exceptional solution-oriented service by collaborating with vendors, project managers, and clients to produce spot-on proposals that are competitive with revenue goals in mind.
You attend bidding events and conduct site visits to provide detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and time. You take pride in your ability to analyze project plans and blueprint with ease.
While working in a fast-paced environment, you leverage a variety of tools and resources to stay up to date on industry trends and technologies.
Your keen eye for detail and project management skills help you ensure accurate material orders and keep everything on budget and on schedule.
Relationship building comes natural to you, and you increase market share through new clients and maintaining strong relationships.
Requirements
- 2+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience
- Strong blueprint reading and construction knowledge
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Valid Driver's License
