NOW INTERVIEWING - AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY
We are currently interviewing for our accounting department - in the office. this is NOT a remote position.
Monday - Friday; plus full benefits including short / long term disability
1-must be proficient in EXCEL, 'SUM IF', creating new spreadsheets with formulas, pivot tables etc
2-must be proficient in creating journal entries
3-complete bank reconciliations and bookkeeping ledgers in a timely manner
4-must be proficient and experienced in using Quickbooks
5-must be computer savvy, able to maneuver from one application to another. Understanding our platform, set up accounts, troubleshoot
6-Collect and post payments using checks, ACH, credit card.
7- online deposit and coordination with bank as needed.
7-must keep up with all sales tax accounts by state
8-ensuring all licenses are in place and up to date for city, state etc.
9-balancing inventory in comparison to our platform, thorough understanding of what inventory is going in and out. Keeping track of cost of inventory using excel to show cost of goods
10-posting daily cash and expenses
11-being alert to fraudulent processing or orders
12-attention to detail, must be very attentive
13-understanding of workflow from the point of purchase, to process of order, to reconciliation of accounts
14-ensuring financial records are accurate and reports are available upon request
15-Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures including the GAAP
