Culinary and Food Services Attendant III (Alcohol Server) (Multiple Positions) Location Main Campus The Arizona Student Unions is looking for a professional Alcohol Server (Culinary and Food Services Attendant III) with excellent communication skills serve classical cocktails (as needed) and exciting new beverages to our guests.
The Alcohol Server will greet guests, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages.
You will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties. To succeed as a Alcohol Server, you should have a neat appearance and engaging, friendly personality.
You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable. The Student Union Memorial Center is one of the largest student unions in the United States.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
- Reviewing event details prior to event start time to ensure planning and product is in place and prepared for all needs as outlined on event orders.
- Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to guests. Checking identification to ensure guests are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
- Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bars are well stocked. Moving cases of product, Kegs that weigh up to 50lbs.
- Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations. When event is needs require :
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
- Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
- Participant in developing new cocktail recipes.
- Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required.
- Must meet state minimum age to serve alcohol.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to transport / move up to 50 pounds.
