We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency that promotes justice by providing free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees.

The Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) seeks to hire a Group Facilitator / Trainer for the Refugee Resettlement Program.
Under the supervision of the Resettlement Program Manager, The RR Group Facilitator / Trainer will be implementing group learning sessions in a deliberate, effective and timely manner to eligible clients while maintaining compliance with established federal standards and requirements.
The RR Group Facilitator / Trainer will contribute to the client’s community orientation and overall self-sufficiency. We aim to remove barriers with compassion, empathy and empowerment, while upholding human dignity and respect.
Responsibilities :
- Provide group facilitation, information sessions and training for eligible populations in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner
- Coordinates with Refugee Resettlement staff to ensure compliance with federal and donor requirements;
- Complete and maintain accurate records and reports regarding participants’ attendance, progress, services provided, and other required information in a timely manner;
- Assist in the set-up and operation of training facilities, tools, and materials;
- Compile, design and continuously update training curricula and materials on topics of interest to participants;
- Responsible for developing and maintaining training plans and the master group training schedule;
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training through the administration of pre- and post-assessments to gauge the level of knowledge gained by participants;
- Ensures that all curricula, agendas, calendars, and trainer assignments are properly documented and are retained in one centralized location.
- Works with the Outreach Coordinator, volunteers, and community partners to identify and schedule group facilitators;
