Job Title : CT Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT)
Location : Tyndall, SD 57066
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Varied scheduling, 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM, 7 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM, or 8 : 30 AM - 6 : 00 PM (36 hrs / week minimum).
Job Description :
The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging and related services using a Siemens 64-slice CT scanner and additional diagnostic equipment.
This position requires a highly skilled professional capable of working independently in a critical access hospital (CAH) setting.
Additional duties include performing EKGs, placing Holter monitors (Zio patches), conducting stress tests, and managing scheduling and prior authorizations for imaging services.
Responsibilities :
- Operate the Siemens 64-slice CT scanner to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Conduct EKGs, apply Holter monitors (Zio patches), and perform stress tests as required.
- Manage scheduling and obtain prior authorizations for patients needing imaging services.
- Assist physicians and healthcare teams in diagnosing medical conditions through accurate and timely imaging.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of imaging procedures and patient information.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the diagnostic imaging process.
- Perform venipuncture and administer IV contrast when necessary.
- Respond to on-call emergencies when required.

- Siemens 64-slice CT Scanner
- Client DR Room and DR Portable machines
- Philips EKG machine
- Average Cases : 7-10 per day.
Requirements : Experience :
Experience :
- 2+ years of current / recent CT experience required.
- Travel experience desired.
- Experience in a critical access hospital (CAH) encouraged.
- Experience with EKGs, Holter monitors (Zio), stress tests, and scheduling preferred.
- Venipuncture experience preferred.
Licenses / Certifications :
- ARRT certification.
- BLS certification (AHA).
