We are seeking candidates for an Assistant Property Manager to support a large portfolio of affordable housing in Dorchester and Roxbury, MA.
Your duties and responsibilities will include :
- Leasing open units.
- Conducting recertification interviews and completing recertification paperwork.
- Collecting and processing rent payments.
- Managing collections and legal notices.
- Updating the waiting lists.
- Providing customer service to our residents and other administrative duties to support the portfolio.
The work hours are 8 : 30am to 4 : 30pm, Monday to Friday. Your work week will be split between sites in Dorchester and Roxbury.
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated candidate with excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong customer service and communication skills will also be key to success in this role.
- Previous experience with affordable housing programs, including Section 8 and LIHTC, is required.
- Certifications such as the COS and C3P would be a plus.
- A driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
- Bilingual Spanish / English is preferred.
