Day To Day Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java and Spring / Spring Boot frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement robust backend systems.
- Utilize core Java concepts, including collections, multithreading, and Java 8 features.
- Manage and optimize relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Ensure code quality through continuous integration and testing.
- Contribute to developing asynchronous reactive microservices, preferably using Vert.x.
Must Haves
- Java Experience : 7-10+ years, proficiency in Spring / Spring Boot is essential
- Hands-on experience with core Java concepts including collections, multithreading, and Java 8 features
- Strong backend development experience
- Proficiency in RDBMS such as Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or related fields
Pluses
- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB
- Experience with asynchronous reactive microservices using Vert.x
- Awareness of machine learning concepts
- Industry experience at leading financial institutions such as Visa, Discover, or MasterCard
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum Team environment
