BANQUET SALES COORDINATOR
Latham, NY
Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for a Banquet Sales Coordinator, to join our client in the Latham, NY area. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a competitive benefits package.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales plans to generate new banquet and wedding business
- Prospect for new clients and develop relationships with key decision-makers
- Conduct tours and meetings with prospective clients to present the banquet and wedding facilities and services
- Negotiate and close contracts with clients
- Work with clients to plan their events, including menus, seating arrangements, décor, and audiovisual needs
- Coordinate with other restaurant / banquet departments to ensure that events are executed smoothly and that clients are satisfied
- Track and report on banquet and wedding sales performance
- Evening and weekend work required when needed
Qualifications and Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in banquet or wedding sales
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banquet sales software
Salary
- $70-100k plus (based on experience)
