The Position :

As a Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Manager you are an integral part of our team.You will manage the sourcing and procurement of supplies for Quantinuum, develop policies and processes for our start-up company, train and supervise staff, and develop relationships with suppliers.

Your team will help us level-up the sourcing and procurement processes across the company.

Responsibilities :

• Establish and drive sourcing and procurement of materials and services in alignment with business leadership per Annual Operating Plan and Integrated Strategic Plan
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives including early sourcing engagement, alignment on key sourcing objectives, and effective execution of sourcing projects
• Lead deployment and implementation of procurement initiatives and systemic continuous improvements including deployment of additional modules of SAP S4 to support MRP, and supporting Smartsheet workflows
• Procurement activities including purchase order placement, monitoring delivery of services and materials to ensure timely receipt for initiatives across the company.
• Proactively resolve supplier performance issues
• Create and manage Category and Commodity Strategies including Spend analysis, Benchmarking, Cost, Market Analysis, and Global Technology / Economic trends
• Manage supplier relationships to mitigate risk and selection, RFQ, RFI, and SOW processes, including negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance and compliance
• Mature Sourcing and Procurement policies procedures, and process improvements to ensure compliance to requirements. Implement process controls, continued updating standard work for all Procurement roles and responsibilities
• Improve working capital through payment terms extensions, payment cycle optimization, vendor finance improvements, and lead time reductions
• Lead and manage the performance of the procurement and sourcing teams, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring effective organization and development of team members

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree
• Minimum 8+ Years in Sourcing and Procurement, preferably in aerospace
• Proven experience with R&D, technical manufacturing / business process development
• Experience managing direct reports
• Significant team leader experience in Sourcing / Procurement / Business
• Strong project management skills including the ability to manage priorities and workflow, preferably with experience in a global environment
• Proficiency with SAP, Request for Quotation Tools, Microsoft Office, and Smartsheet
• Interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, engaging, and rewarding environment
