Shift : 1st; 7 : 00am-5 : 00pm Monday-Friday
Pay : $20.00 / hr Based on Experience
Job Duties of the Counter Sales Associate :
- Serve as the primary facilitator for customer orders made at the City Desk
- Assist customers in a professional manner with product inquiries
- Write (and occasionally fill) orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Generate customer quotations and follow up as necessary
- Provide trouble-shooting and technical support
- Work with other sales team members to resolve customer service issues
- Restock the counter area according to product brand and location
- Monitor product inventory and cull damaged product
- Maintain a clean and appealing counter display area
- Identify and encourage the sale of additional products as applicable
- Perform other duties as assigned Benefits :

- Product and technical knowledge that would normally be acquired in two or more years of college or technical school OR 3-5 years of field experience in residential / commercial application of plumbing and / or HVAC products.
- Excellent relationship building skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal, customer service and communication skills across a variety of communication settings (in-person, phone, and email).
- Strong attention to detail, paired with the ability to multi-task.
- A knack for active listening to determine customer needs.
- Superior problem solving, project management, and analytical skills.
- A high proficiency with computers experience in Eclipse or other ERP systems preferred.
- The ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively.
