Salary Range : $128,000-$180,000 / yr

Job Description : Position Summary :

Position Summary :

Responsible for the daily work-flow for all modalities and coordinates the day to day activities. Manages schedules for technical staff including coordinating PTO requests / sick calls to ensure appropriate departmental coverage.

Performs routine imaging procedures as well as fluoroscopy exams. Assists Radiologists when needed. Adheres to established radiology standards of care .

Assumes responsibility for assigned area and duties. Adheres to outpatient facility-wide customer service programs. Performs other duties as assigned such as quality assurance.

Exercises professional judgment in performance of procedures and operations. Provides quality patient care. Maintains RIS / EMR and PACS System.

Education & Experience Requirements :

• The Radiologic Technologist must be graduate of an allied health education and accredited radiography school or hospital base program.
• NYS DOH license is required, ARRT(R).
• Previous lead or supervisory experience is required.
• Advanced ARRT Certification preferred, CT, Mammography, MRI, ARDMS or NMTCB.
• Continuing education requirements need to be upheld to meet standards set forth by governing bodies.
• Current standards are 24 ECE credits over a two-year period.
• BLS certification through the (AHA) American Heart Association is required or must be completed within 90 days of hire.
• Radiation dose pledge completed for both Image Wisely / Image Gently through the American College of Radiology (ACR), either during the orientation period or before end of the probationary period.
