As a key member, you'll play a crucial role in supporting part number creation and requisition processes. Here's what you'll be responsible for :
- Fostering a collaborative environment focused on teamwork, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Upholding our company principles of teamwork, information security, quality, and health, safety, and environment (HSE).
- Ensuring adherence to departmental procedures and standards.
- Cultivating positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Analyzing upstream purchase requests and mining relevant data to populate complete requisitions.
- Ensuring accurate reflection of quality assurance and quality control requirements in purchase requests.
- Creating SAP part numbers and purchase requisitions for materials released by engineering personnel.
- Monitoring the release of bills of materials and maintaining targeted lead times for purchase request creation.
- Collaborating closely with CSB and Procurement teams to optimize procurement processes.
- Keeping abreast of job progress and updating the Project Planner as necessary.
- Handling additional duties and tasks as assigned.
What we're looking for :
- Strong organizational and analytical skills to effectively prioritize daily tasks.
- Proficiency with SAP.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional typing abilities for efficient data entry.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications :
- Background in engineering or exposure to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Product knowledge in a manufacturing environment, including an understanding of BOM structure.
- Exposure to turbomachinery and rotating equipment, particularly centrifugal compressors and steam turbine component parts.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask under minimal supervision
