Youth Care Facilitator / Behavioral Health Tech. (Part Time)
Location : Olathe, KS
NEW STARTING PT PAY $21.00 / hr*
FT / PT $3.00 pay differential ($24 / hr.) from Friday 5pm - Sunday 10pm!!

Major Duties
- Provide high quality therapeutic care for children, ranging in age from 6-18 years of age, within the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility.
- Provide life skills instruction, coping and team building skills for each child.
- Encourage physical, emotional and behavioral growth and development for youth.
- Maintain the safety and security of the children in care and attend to their needs in a nurturing way.
- Provides complete documentation as required.
- Be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, leadership is valued and diversity is respected.
- Shifts, 7 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm or 12 : 00 pm - 10 : 00 pm or overnights 10 : 00 pm - 8 : 00 am. 1 day each weekend availability is preferred.
To be considered for this position, you will need :
Minimum :
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 21 years of age with valid drivers' license and satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to lead a group of kids in an activity
- Commitment, integrity and adaptability
- Enthusiasm, sense of humor and patience
Preferred (not required) :
- College credit hours in social work, psychology or related mental health fields from an accredited college.
- Aptitude to work with youth who have emotional and behavioral challenges.
