MSI, A Tetra Tech Company, needs an Electrical Engineer in Antananarivo, Madagascar for renovation / fit-out at US Embassy with State Department Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO).
Requires a US Govt. Secret Security Clearance.
The Project
- Renovation / Fit-out of US Embassy in Antananarivo, Madagascar
- Construction includes : specialized demolitioninstallation of new systems furnitureaccompanying Electrical, Mechanical (HVAC), and Telecom installations to support the new furniture layout and accompanying spaces.
- Assignment is expected to last 12 months
- Housing and transportation allowances provided.
- Uplift includes 25% of base salary, plus 5% COLA.
- Benefits (medical, dental, vision, 30 days paid time off a year, paid round trip flights home)
Position Description
- Provide project with full range of critical engineering and construction management oversight.
- Perform technical inspections of electrical work, monitor construction contractor's quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance.
- Observe on-site construction and determine if construction elements are being installed, formed, and executed properly.
- Monitor construction progress with regard to project schedule and submit weekly progress reports with recommendations based on technical review of project documents and field inspections.
Requirements
- US Govt. Secret Clearance or higher
- US Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- OR Current US PE license can substitute for degree
- 7 years construction experience
- ABET accredited (not equivalent) international degree accepted in lieu of US Bachelor’s or US PE
