The Role Key Responsibilities :

SENIOR DATA SCIENTISTS for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ : Chicago, IL). Develop predictive software applications using state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning algorithms.

Lead the design and execution of experiments using a scientific approach to compare hypotheses, generate insights, and ensure the solution meets the target metrics based on discussions with business stakeholders.

Apply strong analytical thinking, various statistical methods, data visualization, and data mining techniques to evaluate the performance of the deep learning and machine learning models.

Responsible for end-to-end data engineering activities including data acquisition, feature selection and pre-processing, creating seamless automated data pipelines.

Implement and scale modeling algorithms using distributed computing, software best practices, with a heavy focus on creating ways to streamline and automate every process.

Lead the transformation of research model / code into production-ready solutions.

• Technical environment : machine learning and deep learning algorithms, probability, statistics; programming languages (Python / R);
• deep learning models : convolutional and recurrent neural networks and machine learning models for classification and regression;
• Python deep learning libraries (Keras, Tensorflow, PyTorch); Python data science stack (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, regex);
• R / SQL / backend systems; scripting and Linux systems with object-oriented concepts; Distributed computing experience (Kubernetes, Airflow, Horovod);

software version control (git); model explainability tools and techniques.

Requirements :

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, or related Quantitative field plus three years of experience with data science / deep learning models required.
