Heavy Machine Operator

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Heavy Machine Operator to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy machinery, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Operate heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, cranes, and forklifts to perform various construction tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of construction tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment to and from job sites as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and secure work environment for all team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by performing general site cleanup and debris removal.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and project managers to resolve issues and report progress.
- Attend safety meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and safety regulations.
- Be flexible with working various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a construction environment.
- Valid certifications / licenses for operating specific machinery, as required by state and federal regulations.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and project specifications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods of time.
- Commitment to following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
