Industrial Master Electrician

Job Overview :

The Master Electrician / Facilities SpecialistLiaison supports the Marvin facilities, systems and equipmentincluding preventive maintenance, consulting on new and existingequipment and facilities, electrical (Intertek / UL) and buildingcode requirements and supporting issues as they arise.

Strongcommunication skills both internally and externally are of theutmost importance.

Highlights of your role :

Must possessproficient mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability toread and understand schematics and diagrams for equipment andfacilities.

Lead and administer building of control panels for newand existing equipment and oversee involvement of electricalapprentice activities.

Provide input onrecommendations for Preventative Maintenance (PM) activity toenhance equipment and facility effectiveness to ensure safety,reduce downtime, increase efficiency and quality.

Diagnose andprovide recommendations to problematic issues proactively forequipment and facilities to improveuptime.

• Research potential components, evaluateperformance and make recommendations to ensure our equipment andfacilities perform at a high level and costeffectively.
• Ensure equipment and facilities remaincompliant with electrical and building codes including but notlimited to Intertek / UL.
• Assist in ProjectManagement for special building and machine projects. Serve as anelectrical consultant to Marvin facilities and outside contractorsincluding but not limited to electrical, HVAC, plumbing, Roofing,Johnson Controls.
• Proactive and thorough communicationalong with building and maintaining internal and externalrelationships is of the utmost importance for all aspects of thisposition.

Must possess the ability to work independently, train andmentor others to ensure we win as ateam.

You're a good fit if you have (or if youcan) :

• High School diploma / GEDrequired
• Associates degree or equivalentexperience Electronics (or related field) and / or five or more yearsrelated experience required
• Preferred mechanicalaptitude knowledge includes : pneumatics / hydraulics, electricaldiagrams and systems, controls, sensors andPLC's
• A valid North Dakota Master ElectricianLicense is required, or if holding a valid Master ElectricianLicense in another state, the ability to obtain a North DakotaMaster ElectricianLicense.
