Job Details :
- Onsite assignment near New Durham, NH
- Pay Range : $33+ / hr (depending on experience)
- Remainder of the 2024-2025 school year
- Part time position, 14 hours / week
- 11 / 1 / 24 Start - 6 / 18 / 25
- Elementary caseload
- 1-2 school sites (mileage can be reimbursed between sites)
- More caseload / positiondetails to be provided during zoom interview process
Responsibilities :
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating and treating students with special needs
- Implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Occupational Therapist
- Help students develop skills for daily living and educational activities
- Document student progress and communicate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings and provide input regarding therapy goals
- Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications :
- Associate or Bachelor'sdegree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- New HampshireStatelicensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Prior experience working with children with special needs in a school or clinical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive equipment is a plus
