Key Responsibilities as a CDL A Instructor :
- Delivering CDL A Training : Provide hands-on instruction in Pre-Trip, Yard Skills, and Road Driving
- Safety-Focused : Emphasize safe, professional driving practices in every session
- Supporting Student Success : Help students prepare for the CDL exam
- Local Schedule : Consistent hours with no overnight travel be home daily
CDL A Instructor Requirements :
- CDL Class A license with 24+ months of verified tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean driving record, with ability to pass DOT physical and drug / alcohol tests
- Basic computer skills for scheduling and tracking student progress
- Strong communication skills and a passion for safety and teaching
