Junkluggers in Seymour, Connecticut is seeking a Franchise Support Specialist to serve as a resource for daily operational and technical support both within the team and to the franchisees.

This role acts as a conduit for guiding franchisees across the system for questions and needs to the right departments to facilitate communication and resolution, when it can’t be resolved in Support first.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operational Support : Assist franchisees with day-to-day operational issues, providing solutions and guidance to maintain operational excellence.
  • First Point of Contact : Serve as the initial contact for on-the-ground issues in the operation of a Junkluggers franchise through tickets, phone, and email.
  • Technology Implementation : Facilitate technology implementation, support, development, evaluation, and needs analysis for a variety of digital tools, including but not limited to Franchise Information management platform, Freshdesk or similar, Junkluggers University / Tortal, CRM, Junktech / Vonigo.
  • Onboarding and Training : Coordinate and deliver franchisee onboarding items to new franchisees, ensuring they are well-equipped with knowledge of company policies, procedures, and best practices.

Review, update, and enhance on-boarding documentation.

  • Resource Provision : Provide franchisees with necessary resources, tools, and materials to support their operations, including marketing collateral, operational manuals, and technology platforms.
  • Problem-Solving : Identify and resolve issues faced by franchisees, collaborating with internal teams to provide comprehensive solutions.

Train and troubleshoot pricing, estimating, removal tactics, exit strategy, routes, worker safety, and training implementation with franchisees.

  • Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees, fostering a supportive and collaborative network.
  • Reporting : Prepare and present regular reports on franchisee performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior management.

Qualifications :

  • Education : High School education required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in franchise operations, support, or a related role. Experience in service industries and working in a franchise environment strongly preferred.
