GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
The Associate Marketing Analyst provides support to Loram’s Sales and Marketing activities by participating in the internal and external proposal processes.
This individual will maintain the CRM database with proposal activity and prepare reports that influence department strategy.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Functional and Technical Skills
- Assist in development, preparation, and management of proposals and proposal approval process, including executive reviews, for North American services and global business segments including by utilizing proposal Management and approval software.
- Accountable for accuracy of entry level financial analysis and projections, technical specifications provided to customers, meeting RFP (Request for Proposal) deadlines, quality of final proposal, and timely responses to requested revisions.
- Participate in the detailed analysis of solicitation documents, i.e. RFP, RFQ (Request for Quote), SOW (Statement of Work) and support the proposal plan, including the proposal schedule / outline, internal RFI (Request for Information) process, compliance matrix, version control / information sharing, and review cycles.
- Consult with Sales teams to gather critical information and discuss strategies for proposals.
- Collaborate with internal departments to compile technical and cost components for proposals. Collaborate with legal department and Contracts Analyst to ensure proposal compliance with relevant requirements.
- Compile and organize supporting documents for proposals including financial analysis (pricing history, P&Ls, cost estimate), summary of proposal, project definition, and other relevant information.
Commercial Management
Administer and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in IFS. Maintain detailed records of sales initiatives, proposals, and customer communication.
Analyze and manage data from internal reporting systems to monitor fleet statistics and performance.
- Utilize CRM to run weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports related, but not limited to proposal and customer activity.
- Participate in the creation of Value Proposition content to provide support for future customer needs.
- Provide entry-level marketing and analytical support to global entities upon request

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Bachelor’s Degree Business, Economics and / or Marketing
Experience : 0 to 3+ Years Marketing, Analytics, and / or Proposal Writing experience
Or equivalent combination of education and experience 4+ years combination of education and experience in marketing, analytics, or business writing.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Knowledgeable in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficient in Adobe
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Licenses / Certifications : Ability to obtain and maintain Railroad Certifications
