Summary :
The Managed Desk - Platform Support Associate delivers a great Advisor and Client experience using the Evestnet advisory The Managed Desk - Platform Support Associate delivers a great Advisor and Client experience using the Evestnet advisory account platform by providing technical, policy and procedures support via telephone and electronic communications.
Expected to provide excellent service by working closely with internal and external partners to facilitate client and colleague requests.
Develop problem-solving skills and expertise on managed desk processes and procedures to assist with escalated issues and problem resolution.
Support account opening and account modification process.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide technical, policy and procedure support and problem resolution for Financial Advisors on policy, procedure and system issues over the phone, face to face, and possibly in market.
- Open new accounts, modifying existing accounts, and handle system / internal service requests
- Produce, analyze and distribute account activity and position reports and inquiries
- Educate and train Financial Advisors on use of platform
- Develop or update procedures, training materials and job aides
- Participate on special projects and working groups to develop process improvements and learn a broad view of investment operations.
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications :
- High school diploma
- At least 3 years of brokerage / investment experience
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses required
Preferred Qualifications :
- Familiarity with the financial advisory business, including investment products and concepts, technology and industry regulations
- Excellent telephone skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment and to manage multiple priorities
- High level of professionalism
- Desire to learn and develop professionally
Exempt Status : (Yes not eligible for overtime pay) ( No eligible for overtime pay)
