Payroll Coordinator
LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a payroll coordinator for a client just north of Cincinnati, OH. The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of payroll for our employees.
This role involves maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and handling payroll-related inquiries.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
This position is temp to hire and will pay between $20 and $24 per hour.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Enter and update payroll information, including salary adjustments, benefits, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate payroll records and reports.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Address and resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
- Prepare and distribute annual W-2s, W-4s, and other tax-related documents.
- Collaborate with the HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee data.
- Assist with audits and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Payroll Coordinator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and labor laws.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
