Zalat Pizza Maker / Cook
Location : 250 W. 20th St, Houston, TX 77008
Full Time or Part Time
Pay $12-15 / hr
Zalat Pizza is Texas’ fastest growing funky pizzeria, and we’re actively hiring both inexperienced and experienced Pizza Makers.

A day in the life of a pizza Zealot :
- Work quickly and calmly around hot ovens
- Proper preparation (make, bake, and garnish) and standard presentation of all pizzas
- Food prep, clean as you go, and expo (better known as Pizza Sheriff)
- Maintain quality standards and consistency of food by complying with sanitation standards and ongoing training & development
- Lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods of time
Must love pizza and :
- BYOB Be your original badass. We want your most authentic, badass self every single day
- No experience necessary; pizza experience is a plus!
- Part time or full time, weekend and nighttime availability - we’re open super-duper late
- Dedication to serve only the best quality pizzas
- Food Handler’s certification is required. If you do not have one, we will pay for you to get one
Zalat Pizza is on a romantic mission to become a national multi-unit pizzeria with handmade product at mass volume. Best known for serving specialty pizzas with unique flavor combinations, Zalat has become a late-night staple across DFW.
We have three primary goals 1 is to make perfect tasting pizzas, 2 is to make customers for life and 3 is to make our front-line pizza Zealots wealthy with stock options.
After 90 days, you get to choose your own unique work identity; we call this your Zalat Call Sign. Who do you want to be?
