Lead Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floor cleaning, with expertise in carpet cleaning, tile and grout, cleaning, wood floor maintenance, and upholstery care.

This role involves leading a team of technicians, ensuring quality service, and providing exceptional customer service.

Lead Technician Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians in providing floor cleaning services, including but not limited to carpet, tile and grout cleaning, wood floor maintenance, and upholstery cleaning
• Perform water restoration tasks when required, including water extraction, drying, and dehumidification under the supervision of a certified water restoration technician
• Assess job sites and determine the most effective cleaning methods and equipment needed.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of cleaning equipment and products.
• Inspect completed work.
• Train and and mentor new technicians, providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols.
• Interact with customers to assess their needs, provide estimates, and ensure satisfaction.
• Adhere to company policies and safety standards at all times.

Lead Technician Qualifications

• Proven experience in floor cleaning, including carpet, tile and grout, wood floors, and upholstery.
• Knowledge of water restoration techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of working independently.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
