Director of Recreat ion Responsibilities :
- Day to day coordination and oversight of the activity department
- Daily programming and monthly calendars
- staffing and scheduling of the activity staff, entertainment and dedicated events
- Coordinates and is responsible for developing and implementing an effective activities program and other initiatives designed to meet the social, psycho- social and therapeutic needs of Nursing Home.
- Manage, guide and coach co-workers in the department to meet expected goals and support a healthy, productive and warm environment.
- Work with residents to meet their individual goals through the activities and programs implemented.
- Applicants should be self-motivated with preferably experience as Activities / Recreation Director
Director of Recreation Experience :
- Recreation in long term care facility (Preferred)
- Degree in Therapeutic Recreation
