Main Line Health is seeking highly motivated and skilled Gastroenterologists to join our dynamic team as a GI Hospitalist.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive inpatient care at a leading suburban Philadelphia hospital known for its commitment to excellence in patient care, innovative treatments, and a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide inpatient care for patients with gastrointestinal (GI) conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and management.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Perform GI procedures, including endoscopy and colonoscopy, as required for inpatient care.
  • Work closely with the hospital’s emergency department and other inpatient services to manage acute GI conditions.
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the hospital’s mission of providing high-quality care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications :

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Pennsylvania
  • Strong clinical skills with expertise in managing a wide range of GI conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
