The Role
- Preparation of advanced business and individual tax return
- Review of standard business and individual tax return
- Assisting managers with client-specific financial, research, and other projects
- Engaging directly with clients and senior management, developing and managing professional client relationships
- Being responsible for a client base and assuring high-quality service is delivered
- Developing technical skills through diverse engagements
- Building relationships with clients and community contacts, and contributing significantly to the ongoing development efforts of the firm
The Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor degree
- CPA license, Enrolled Agent designation helpful, but not required
- Experience with tax preparation for businesses and individuals
- Experience with payroll tax preparation
- Experience reviewing listed tax returns is a plus
- Experience with online tax research
- Desire to develop strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, and PC skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office, QuickBooks, UltraTax, Go File Room, Right Networks, Thompson Reuters & / or Adobe a plus.
- Valuation or Trust & Estate experience is also a plus
