Yard Jockey Driver

Our client, in the trucking industry is seeking for experienced Yard Jockey Drivers to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and great driving record which will align successfully in the organization.

Location : Palmyra / Hershey, PA

11PM-7AM; Sun- Mon- $20.75

6AM-6PM; Sat- Mon- $20.75

6PM-6AM; Sat-Mon- $21.00

6PM-6AM; Frid- Sund- $21.25

6PM-6AM; Tue-Thu- $21.00

What's the Job?

• Drives switching equipment, tractors, and straight trucks to transport goods or equipment to and from designated locations.
• Loads and unloads trailers and verifies product count.
• Maintains a clean and safe docking area and reports any maintenance or safety issues to supervision.
• Refuels vehicles on site and documents locations and condition of equipment.
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Considerable knowledge of tractor / truck mechanics and maintenance.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain clean driving record.
• Ability to comply with all applicable OSHA regulations, Commercial driving requirements as per state and federal D.O.T.

and / or MSDS standards.
