SENIOR ACCOUNTANT -GENERAL ACCOUNTING

JOIN TEAM TRILOGY Summary Prepares journal entries and completes accounting and financial analysis for various legal entities, home office, intercompany, joint venture, and equity transactions across the organization.

Maintains chart of account and general ledger systems, analyzes, and verifies financial records and preparation of financial and statistical reports.

Duties and Responsibilities 1. Manages and prepares intercompany transactions for the organization with over 20 legal entities, including owned, joint ventures and managed relationships.

Prepares invoices for intercompany relationships and supporting documentation for third party investors. 2. Prepares / inputs journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation for home office, intercompany, joint ventures, debt, revenue, reserves and other general accounting transactions.

3. Analyzes and reconciles general ledger monthly and maintains appropriate supporting documentation of assigned accounts.

4. Accounting oversight for campuses that participate in the Indiana IGT program, including preparing journal entries, reviewing financial statement trends, and coordinating with third party hospitals for reporting and audit requirements.

5. Assist with administration of the chart of account and general ledger system updates / maintenance for organizational and reporting updates.

6. Assist with generating and distributing monthly financial and statistical reports to management and home office department leaders and coordinating periodic financial reviews.

7. Manages and generates ad-hoc reports and assists management with interpretation and analysis of such reports. 8. Reviews financial statements for proper accounting treatment of revenue and expense items.

9. Consults with Company personnel on accounting-related issues. 10. Provides training on accounting and related systems on an as-needed basis.

11. Prepares audit schedules and other reports for external auditors. 12. Meets Expectations of Excellence for position.

13. Leads by Example (LBE), upholds and promotes the culture, mission, and values of the Company. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Qualifications : Four (4) year degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent from an accredited college or university required.

Experience : Five (5) to seven (7) years financial / accounting experience with a focus on budgeting. Medicaid / Medicare experience preferred but not required.

Healthcare, senior living industry or long-term care environment preferred. Oracle Fusion, SmartView or other fusion based general ledger software products or equivalent preferred.

Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products. This position description is not intended to be all inclusive.
