nd Shift Forklift Operator ( : pm - : pm $ per hour plus $ shift differential)
Who we are looking for :
We are currently looking for a Forklift Operator to be based out of Chino, CA. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this person will be responsible for operating the sit-down forklift, conducting S tasks, reworking steel bundles, and broken pallets.
Sustain the cleanliness of the facility. Rework and S tasks at the exterior of the facility (% of the time).
What you'll do :
Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Operate a sit-down forklift
- S task
- Rework steel bundles
- Rework broken pallets
- Sustain the cleanliness of the facility
- Exterior rework and S tasks (% of the time)
- Ensure tasks are performed according to standard operating procedures and regulations
- Warehouse organization
- Identify Safety Hazards in the workplace
- Attend the daily Gemba meeting with the management and other distribution employees
- Assist in meeting performance to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Innovation goals
What you'll bring :
- years experience driving a sit-down forklift
- Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good attendance and punctuality
- S experience a plus
- Detail orientated
Within months, you'll :
- Complete all required training
- Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role
- Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations
