The successful candidate will work in a technically diverse and dynamic environment with a team of professionals responsible for all aspects of IT.

The successful candidate will lead and coordinate multiple teams to install and support NNL enterprise networks at shipyards, suppliers, government agencies, and Navy organizations across the United States and overseas, and manage resources to develop and implement solutions that continue to add functionality, increase capacity, ensure security, and improve performance of the IT services being provided.

This position requires collaboration with technical and financial personnel across the organization, and direct interaction with senior technical and management personnel at customer locations, within the IT Department, and across the NNL organization.

Some of the duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following : Plan and execute IT technical and IT process improvement projects.

Perform project scheduling, cost, scope, stakeholder, communications, procurement, risk and quality management. Conduct meetings and present project information clearly to personnel at all levels of management.

Develop and manage budgets and procurement plans. Develop portfolio management plans across a wide range of resources. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience;

or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities : Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Kenneth A.

Kesselring Site, and Naval Reactors Facility, and at the U.S. Department of Defense-owned Nuclear Power Training Unit-Charleston.

FMP employees also have an established presence at numerous shipyards and vendor locations. For nearly 70 years, the Naval Nuclear Laboratory has developed advanced nuclear propulsion technology, provided technical support, and trained world-class nuclear operators to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our nation's submarine and aircraft carrier Fleets.
