Description :
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler Lead to oversee the day-to-day operational functions related to soldering, Surface Mount Technology (SMT), and machine operating.
This role does not involve direct management of employees but focuses on ensuring operators receive comprehensive training, technical support, and support process jobs for traffic safety products.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily operations related to assembly, soldering, SMT processes, and machine operation.
- Provide hands-on training to operators, ensuring they understand and adhere to company procedures and quality standards.
- Serve as a primary technical resource for operators, addressing job-specific questions and challenges.
- Monitor production workflows to ensure operators meet daily production goals and maintain productivity.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with all relevant safety regulations.
- Ensure operators have the appropriate work instructions and are following them according to procedure.
- Inspect components and assemblies, ensuring compliance company standards.
- Utilize hand tools and assembly equipment as needed to support production.
- Maintain records of training sessions and track operator progress.
- Liaise with the Quality Control team to report and mitigate production issues.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements :
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience, with a focus on assembly, soldering, SMT, or machine operation.
- Prior experience in a lead or training role preferred.
