Bring your experience and desire to grow and join the Aircraft Services Quality team. In this position you’ll work with shop floor personnel and management to ensure aircraft are completed in a safe and compliant manner in order to support Bell customers’ needs.

You’ll be able to grow your technical abilities and gain experience.

What You’ll Be Doing as an Aircraft Inspector

  • Perform preliminary and hidden damage inspections.
  • Perform kit installation inspections.
  • Assist with final inspections as required.
  • Inspect required items using various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.
  • Ensure that inspection records, reports, and forms are properly executed.
  • Assist with completing repair station documents as needed.
  • Administer warranty returns.
  • Perform various audits.
  • Assist with KPI collection and reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills You Bring to this Role

  • Familiarity with applicable regulations in FAR Chapter 145 and inspection methods / techniques used to determine airworthiness.
  • Ability to read and interpret installation instructions.
  • Ability to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft programs.
  • Close attention to detail.

What You Need to be Successful

  • 3+ years of hands-on aircraft experience.
  • FAA Airframe certificate required. A&P certificate preferred.
  • Education Requirements : High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing stairs, ladders and work stands.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
  • Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, climb, and crawl in and out of aircraft as required.
  • Ability to stand / sit for long periods of time.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
