JOB DESCRIPTION

Volt is immediately hiring Centerless Grinder Operator for an Aerospace company in Rancho Dominguez / Compton, CA.

Long-Term (temp to hire), Weekly Pay, OT,

As a Centerless Grinder you will :

a . Review router to determine setup, tooling and specifications of parts

b. Ability to select and place abrasive grind wheel and make appropriate adjustments

c. Perform set-up and operation of machines effectively and within specified time frames

d. Provide information for Inspector evaluation and validation of quality

e. Meet quality, production and re-work targets in assigned work area by inspecting parts during production to ensure they are produced to required dimension s and conform to all specifications.

f. Utilization of Statistical Process Control (SPC) as needed

g. Utilization of AIC Job Clock System as needed

h. Adhere to all AIC company policies

i. Other duties as assigned

This is a long-term with possibility of converted to company

Schedule : Monday through Friday plus OT as needed

1st shift 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm

2nd shift 2 : 15pm-10 : 45pm

Pay Rate : $25.00-$30.00 / hr

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
