One of our large biopharmaceutical clients is seeking an Associate Scientist - Downstream Purification to join their growing R&D organization within their bioprocessing team in King of Prussia, PA for a 6-month contract.
This individual will be completing sample analysis and method development specifically within monoclonal antibody purification and development.
There is a specific emphasis on chromatography and must have hands on experience specifically with AKTA. Other responsibilities include :
- Purify and characterize antibodies, multispecifics, and other biomolecules
- Utilize AKTA systems to purify proteins through affinity and other FPLC chromatography methods
- Execute HPLCs and other biochemical analytical techniques for characterization
- Design, execute, and interpret experiments and collaborating with team on next steps
- Analyze and evaluate experimental results and data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study
- Minimum of 1 years of experience with monoclonal antibody purification
- Prior AKTA experience
Pay Range : $36.00-$43.00 / hr
Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm
Hiring Method : 6 month-long contract with potential for extension and / or permanent hire

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
